IRISH COFFEE

Looking for a nice coffee recipe good for today's weather (DAVAO WEATHER TODAY is LIGHT RAINY) .  I found this and tried with my father TANDUAY WHISKEY.

A bit skeptical to make this kind of coffee, first time to combine coffee with whiskey.

Okay here we go:

  1. First let us make an IRISH CREAM LIQUEUR.  Or if you have BAILEYS or MOLLY'S much better. Make 1 (1.5 fluid ounce)of double sided cup(jigger).
  2. 1 (1.5 fluid ounce)double sided cup of TANDUAY WHISKEY (or IRISH WHISKEY).
  3. 1 cup HOT BREWED COFFEE
  4. 1 tbsp. whipped cream ( I used MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM)
  5. And 1 dash ground peanut or nutmeg(optional)
So easy to make:

  1. In a coffee mug, combine the IRISH CREAM and TANDUAY or IRISH WHISKEY.  Fill mug with hot brewed coffee.  Top with the all-purpose cream and dash it with ground peanut/nutmeg.
Caffeinated at the same time alcoholic.  Hahahahaha...it has weird taste, it taste like an 80-proof mug of acid or whatever but it is great!   Surely a waking up drink.

DECAF PERKS YOU UP!

I cannot start my day without a hot cup of coffee, and discovering DECAF as part of  my MENTAL BOOST is way new to you.  Right?

Most people think caffeinated coffee is more boosting in terms of mental performance, reaction times, and moods compared to decaffeinated.  According to UK study, it revealed that coffee's stimulating effect could be all in mind.

Either you are into decaf or regular coffee it is still the same. So just expecting that caffeine hit means you feel positive effects, even if you are not drinking the real thing.

Cafe Americano at Green Coffee

Cafe Americano at Green Coffee

Cafe Americano at Green Coffee

The coffeeshop is a self-serviced shop like Starbucks which you have to wait in line to get your coffee to your table. So if you're staying outside, you have to wait inside for your name to be called.

Their bestseller is Cafe Mocha but I ordered CAFE AMERICANO for a  change, and paired with their chocolate mousse. A coffee addict like me will really love this place and also their coffee itself.

For a taste of this new shop, which I have known is a Panadero Express under a new brand. A chat with friends and relax, I recommend you come here.

Green Coffee is located at F. Torres St., Davao City.

COFFEE FLAVORED

COFFEE FLAVORED

COFFEE FLAVORED

I do love flavored coffee compared to traditional coffee taste.  I love Vanilla, Hazelnut and Almond flavors and if there is no available flavor like this that's just not coffee anymore, in my opinion.

Well if you say I am addicted to coffee, yes I am.  It started when I am still working at the mall.  Every time we have break it is a COFFEE BREAK for me.  And to add our store is just fronting BO's Coffee Shop, everyday I smell the aroma of their coffee.

I've heard from many faithful coffee drinkers that flavored coffees are just terrible.  Not because the taste is terrible, but because the whole concept of adding flavors to coffee is disrespectful.  Coffee has such a wonderful flavor on its own, why mess with it?  The fact that the coffee is processed with chemicals is a point against them. Since they are going to be treated anyway, quite often the beans are not of the highest quality and the roasting is haphazard. In other words, it may be a delicious drink, but it's still poor coffee.

Well in spite of their discussions, I still enjoy flavored coffee then I guess or at least get some that have been made from well-roasted, quality beans.  A shot of syrup can quickly and easily add a new taste to your coffee. Or add some spices to your ground coffee beforehand. A bit of cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, or other powdered spice can be added to your ground coffee.  JUST MAKE A CHANGE.  Nothing will be gone if you try it!  STILL BREWING.
