STARBUCKS COFFEE

What is with this Coffee?  Why it's so interesting to taste this coffee?  I know everyone loves to taste the coffee from STARBUCKS.

The scents of the freshly brewed coffee are the first thing in the morning you wanted to smell especially if you work grave yard. In my case, yes it is.   Though I can attest that BREWED COFFEE from Starbucks is not my favorite one but it is good to experience how to become one of the STARBUCKS FANS.

Technically speaking, it is not easy to distinguish the best coffee if you will not experience and taste it.  This coffee has unique smell but not that quite good for me.  I do believe that every STARBUCKS BRANCHES have a different taste even they carry the name STARBUCKS.

Sorry STARBUCKS LOVERS, but this is just my sense.  I know you have your own reasons why you love to hang and chill out to this place and have a sip of coffee at once; maybe because of its awesome location.

Strategically located in the middle of 2nd LEVEL of SM LANANG PREMIER overlooking the atrium.

You may visit their Facebook Page STARBUCKS PHILIPPINES or follow them on TWITTER

KOPIKO Kopiccino Instant Cappuccino with Choco Granules

After attending a meeting from my child's school, I feel sleepy and tired.  So I went to a sari-sari store and buy my favorite coffee in a sachet.  Apparently they are out of stock then I saw something hanging in their store, and this is new to me: KOPIKO KOPICCINO!

Okay, let's have a try.  Hope it will not frustrate me with what I experience with another brand of cappuccino coffee who turns to be like an ordinary regular coffee drink.

The most important aspect of making a great cappuccino is to have a great espresso; prepared with a hot milk and a foam.  This coffee is really great.  The frothiness is there and I LOVE IT!

It has a FREE CHOCO GRANULES attached at the back of the coffee itself.

If you plan to have coffee and chat and it doesn't to be expensive try KOPIKO KOPICCINO.  I assure you, you will have an expensive coffee experience right into your home for PHp8.00 only.

NOTE:  This is not a PAID ADVERTISEMENT.  This is just my personal view and experience.

IRISH COFFEE

Looking for a nice coffee recipe good for today's weather (DAVAO WEATHER TODAY is LIGHT RAINY) .  I found this and tried with my father TANDUAY WHISKEY.

A bit skeptical to make this kind of coffee, first time to combine coffee with whiskey.

Okay here we go:

  1. First let us make an IRISH CREAM LIQUEUR.  Or if you have BAILEYS or MOLLY'S much better. Make 1 (1.5 fluid ounce)of double sided cup(jigger).
  2. 1 (1.5 fluid ounce)double sided cup of TANDUAY WHISKEY (or IRISH WHISKEY).
  3. 1 cup HOT BREWED COFFEE
  4. 1 tbsp. whipped cream ( I used MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM)
  5. And 1 dash ground peanut or nutmeg(optional)
So easy to make:

  1. In a coffee mug, combine the IRISH CREAM and TANDUAY or IRISH WHISKEY.  Fill mug with hot brewed coffee.  Top with the all-purpose cream and dash it with ground peanut/nutmeg.
Caffeinated at the same time alcoholic.  Hahahahaha...it has weird taste, it taste like an 80-proof mug of acid or whatever but it is great!   Surely a waking up drink.

DECAF PERKS YOU UP!

I cannot start my day without a hot cup of coffee, and discovering DECAF as part of  my MENTAL BOOST is way new to you.  Right?

Most people think caffeinated coffee is more boosting in terms of mental performance, reaction times, and moods compared to decaffeinated.  According to UK study, it revealed that coffee's stimulating effect could be all in mind.

Either you are into decaf or regular coffee it is still the same. So just expecting that caffeine hit means you feel positive effects, even if you are not drinking the real thing.

Coffee almond milk cocktail

I found this idea through my new social media network the PINTEREST, How to Milk an Almond fresh homemade almond milk.  It is new to me and I am curious to try this kind of coffee combined with almond milk.

First I have to prepare my coffee ice cubes.  So easy.  I saw this idea for putting freshly brewed coffee in ice cube trays.

Then I freeze it.  After an hour I put my Almond milk together with my coffee ice cubes.

So refreshing...Hmmm...better add some spice to heat.  I add a nip of my father Tanduay brandy. Oh la la I have now  COFFEE ALMOND MILK COCKTAIL!

Cafe Americano at Green Coffee

The coffeeshop is a self-serviced shop like Starbucks which you have to wait in line to get your coffee to your table. So if you're staying outside, you have to wait inside for your name to be called.

Their bestseller is Cafe Mocha but I ordered CAFE AMERICANO for a  change, and paired with their chocolate mousse. A coffee addict like me will really love this place and also their coffee itself.

For a taste of this new shop, which I have known is a Panadero Express under a new brand. A chat with friends and relax, I recommend you come here.

Green Coffee is located at F. Torres St., Davao City.

COFFEE FLAVORED

I do love flavored coffee compared to traditional coffee taste.  I love Vanilla, Hazelnut and Almond flavors and if there is no available flavor like this that's just not coffee anymore, in my opinion.

Well if you say I am addicted to coffee, yes I am.  It started when I am still working at the mall.  Every time we have break it is a COFFEE BREAK for me.  And to add our store is just fronting BO's Coffee Shop, everyday I smell the aroma of their coffee.

I've heard from many faithful coffee drinkers that flavored coffees are just terrible.  Not because the taste is terrible, but because the whole concept of adding flavors to coffee is disrespectful.  Coffee has such a wonderful flavor on its own, why mess with it?  The fact that the coffee is processed with chemicals is a point against them. Since they are going to be treated anyway, quite often the beans are not of the highest quality and the roasting is haphazard. In other words, it may be a delicious drink, but it's still poor coffee.

Well in spite of their discussions, I still enjoy flavored coffee then I guess or at least get some that have been made from well-roasted, quality beans.  A shot of syrup can quickly and easily add a new taste to your coffee. Or add some spices to your ground coffee beforehand. A bit of cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, or other powdered spice can be added to your ground coffee.  JUST MAKE A CHANGE.  Nothing will be gone if you try it!  STILL BREWING.
